Here For You is a mental health and wellbeing service available to any Essex or Hertfordshire health & social care worker struggling with the direct or indirect impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. Every month, they will publish highlights of their activities & feedback to their service, in their mission to support those who work in health & social care across Hertfordshire and Essex.

On 9th March 2022, the organisation ‘Here For You’ offered a support space for people to reflect on the impact of the conflict abroad. The feedback from this session was that it was very helpful to come together and talk about the emotions which have been evoked and discuss different ways to manage these emotions. Due to requests for further sessions, they have added more dates.
The session is an opportunity to explore and understand the impact that the Ukraine and Russia conflict might have on us. It is open to staff members who may be wondering how to support themselves or loved ones experiencing fear, worry, anger and uncertainty.
Staff who work in healthcare, social care, the voluntary sector or not-for-profit sector are from a range of diverse backgrounds, and Here For You would like to offer support in these reflective spaces to ALL staff from these sectors whatever their origins or ethnicity. They look forward to providing a neutral space for you to reflect.
They are facilitating this in a supportive manner and will not be engaging in any political discussions. The sessions will NOT be recorded.
