DHSC has now published the new SOP for EOLC medicine reuse in care homes and hospices. The guidance sets out criteria for when and how a medicine can be ‘reused’ in these settings
COVID-19 staff redeployment guidance
The BMA has today published online staff redeployment guidance for employed doctors in England, during the coronavirus pandemic. It covers issues such as consenting to employment, induction and training, terms and conditions, testing, and PPE. The guidance also covers working with other clinical and non-clinical staff during your redeployment, and health and wellbeing during your redeployment. Note that guidance for GP partners is included in the BMA’s guidance on redeploying staff, working in hubs and furlough, which is in the BMA toolkit for GPs and GP practices.
