Paul Firth, Primary Care Wellbeing Project Manager at Suffolk and North East Essex recently got in touch with us regarding some wellbeing projects specific to primary care in North East Essex. Typically working with practices, often with Practice Managers or via the PCNs, here are some of the projects that Paul has currently been working on:

• Exploring wellbeing provision via the NHS Framework Diagnostic Tool
• Organising training and embedding Suicide Prevention and Awareness Ambassadors into surgeries (working with Dr Anthony West)
• Exploring innovation funding for initiatives such as wellbeing safe spaces
• Working with The Training Hub on training specific to wellbeing
• Directly engaging with professionals working in primary care (receptionists / medical secretaries / practice nurses) to tailor a wellbeing offer
