Medical Schools across the UK are currently struggling to identify adequate placement providers in General Practice. Dr Kathryn Harrison, GP Theme Lead and GP Tutor Recruitment and Engagement Lead from the University of Liverpool has approached us in regards to a survey that aims to identify the factors which affect a practices’ decision to host undergraduate medical students, and we have been asked to share this with our GP Practices.
It is fully anonymous and should take no longer than 5 minutes to complete. The data collected will be used by medical schools in the UK to identify drivers and barriers to medical student placements in General Practice. This will allow them to tailor placement requirements appropriately and identify strategies to help interested practices overcome potential barriers.
If you are interested in participating, please read the Participant Information Sheet and, if happy to continue, complete the online survey here.
